WHAT IS COACHING?
COACHING IS
"It is a collaborative solution-focused, results-oriented systematic process in which the coach facilitates the enhancement of goal attainment, performance, self-directed learning and personal growth of other individuals".

coaching is not
Psychological therapy, since it does not focus on the past or emotions, but on the present and future.

Nor is it training or consulting, because the coach does not tell you what to do, it only helps you find your own answers, to discover different ways to overcome obstacles and unleash your potential.
IN OTHER WORDS
Coaching is a process to find and create. To find your answers, your full potential, your resources, what is holding you back and how to overcome it, what motivates you and makes you keep going, and the different pathways to achieve what you really want and deserve.
HOW DOES IT LOOK LIKE?
Each session is 1 hour long, either online or physically, in a private and quiet place either face-to-face or online. Many different tools can be used to assess the point of start and progress of the client and it's a completely confidential process.

When coaching within an organisation, three sessions (beginning, middle and ending of the process) are made to include the manager of the client in order to align expectations from the client and the organisation.

My style as a coach
As a coach I am supportive, empathetic and cheerful, but also honest and profound. Striving to constantly improve myself and actng in accordance with my values, has given me the ability to detect inconsistencies or beliefs that make it more difficult for you to achieve your goals and to discover your universe. I will support you to take into account other perspectives and to prompt realizations, helping you to see other possibilities and to seethat you already had the answer.

About the process and its measurement
The duration of the coaching process can vary but lasts on average between 10 to 13 sessions, which vary in frequency, from weekly to monthly session. We can use tools to identify strengths and areas of opportunity, as well as tests and results of group evaluations (if available) to know where we are starting from. These evaluations (which can be at an individual or systemic level) serve to measure progress towards the goal and are done at the beginning, middle and ending of the process; the frequency may change depending on the specific case. Measurements are established in conjunction with you and range from self-evaluations to performance and / or 360 evaluations

Theoretical bases
Positive Psychology is one of the main bases in my coaching, as well as solution-focused and strengths-based approaches. I also use a combination of Mindfulness and Cognitive-Behavioral techniques. I can build with you case conceptualizations to to identify how some situations may trigger certain behaviours, helping you to build more effective solutions to help break cycles that may be preventing you from reaching your goals and discovering your universe.
